Hello everyone
How does one get to Carnegie Hall? practice! practice! practice!
so the only way to get good with the old/new procedures is to practice.
So here are some challenges, that will hopefully make it interesting to encode/decode, that are not to taxing. I would ask that you post your response, if any, in an encoded format. choose YOUR weapon of choice(m3 m4[adv] etc.)
ALL the files/tables/procedures can be found via links from this link
enigmaworldcodegroup.freeforums.net/thread/164/welcome-newbies-useful-links
so the following are not too tricky, but one might be a little more difficult than the others.
IF, you have difficulties decoding, please email directly, I kept(am keeping) detailed records of the encoding settings, key group etc.

Hey there,
Nice of you to have taken on the task of creating a challenge.
I am afraid I cannot decrypt the first message [EWCG2018] with the given header.
PDF LUK gives me BBA as a start position...which does not decode the message
The header PDF HSI should give the right start position.
As far as the [EWCG2018TRITON] part is concerned, it seems that you used the bigram table from the "2018 EWCG TRITON M4 code books" post and the Codesheet from the ADVANCED procedure. We did indeed post about possible mistakes coming from two diferent sets of Triton codes...well, it just happend I guess. We also did talk about using the same Triton sheets for both TRITON and ADV procedure but i don't remember if we decided or not to do so. If yes, you and i need to change our links to the Codesheets
Third and fourth messages decoded just fine. Thanks for including an Offizier part. For these, I would suggest to drop the [TRITON] tag in the header and only use the [ADV] tag, since it is not always the triton sheets that are needed.

Boy, It took me forever to get this one... My eyesight is getting worse and I mistook O for Q in the ring settings, I thought that the little "tail thing" was a dirt spot on my screen...LOL

Attempted to decode. The bigram table for 25 January was Table 'C'. This decodes 'WSSL BDDV' to 'LCAE' and 'KGSN'. According to the K-book, 'CAE' is actually Column 362, which accordingly should be a HYDRA network. I attempted to try both HYDRA and TRITON keys for 25 January with zero results. I plan to try TBreaker and see if I can crack this traffic. But at this point, I have no idea what tables and codesheets were used.
TBreakerM4 was unable to find an answer using the following settings: UKW=C Beta/C, III/Z, IV/U, VIII/D; 2/25 3/26 4/7 5/12 8/15 9/16/10/13 11/17 14/20 19/22. I let TBreaker run the entire message key space from AAAA to ZZZZ.
Obviously a different bigram table was used and possibly a different key set.
Mauser sends.

His name is Kaiser, he's a German Shepherd. He's3 months today. He's growing, will likely hit around 90 pounds fully grown. After training, he will be an ADA Service Dog. After review, I realized you WERE using HYDRA for your messages. Also one was regular and the other Offizier. Both decoded fine after I switched to the correct key sheet. Attachments:
