My first time posting an encrypted message to the group... please be kind if I messed it up! Used the advanced M4 procedures. Think I got the formatting right. And without any further ado whatsoever...

Well, it turns out my eye slipped down a line when looking up the ring position for the first rotor (Beta). That would certainly mess things up. This should be correct now.

Hey, this one decodes ok! Easy to mix up ain't it! in order to minimize Enigma settings changes for anyone wanting to read this post from beginning to end, I have kept the date of the opening post (thus same inner / outer / stecker). However, just as in real life (and also to keep it fun), I've changed the Kennengruppe (therefore the start position).HSN 2053/12 002 47 BQXB KCPN LBLG XVKR NYPF GFWU VBYH AOHW NAQJ JMAT SCYU MCFG IJBO CWXD SKFT WPSG QZMB JGJC ZJDF CDCS TFFI WCIM OGBL DOJO RNFS ODAT GUUS QJBC YFPK DQAJ CXMM PGSH MRJS GUTG UMWZ CQMT OGZJ EQXC OOIB NMML DONS NJUL KMHJ ISQJ DXPD BQXB KCPN Up to now, the first three letters were supposed to be random. To me, it would make more sense to start the encrypted message with random letters but I don't know any better (I read somewhere (not even sure if it is Enigma related...maybe some other machine) that operators were instructed to start their messages with random existing words. (makes sense not to have all your messages begin with VONVON)).
