Here I go again... probably going to be kicked out if I keep bringing this stuff up. But in the Officers code sheets for Triton and Hydra, each of the Steckerverbindungen (plugboard settings) has 11 pairs. Didn't they only have 10 plugboard cables??

Haha...you keep on noticing stuff like that...lol Not the kind of thing that would happen to me, I kept on writing EWGC instead of EWCG for so many posts before noticing.
Good eye for details there!

You are correct, there are 11 pairs vice 10. Was my mistake, another Enigma group I hang with uses the full 11 pairs as that adds 50 trillion more combinations to the key space. Use the first 10 and I'll revise the code eventually to use just the 10 pairs
Mauser sends.

I'd rather use what's on the sheets...11 or 10 does not matter that much to me but not having to remember to leave one out helps my clutterd mind

I use one on my Android tablet and phone that only allows 10. I don't think going to 11 is a good idea (with apologies to Nigel Tufnel).

Right, never tried these forum messages on the android app...Wait....I just tried it on my app, it does not complain with all of them keys paired....It also allows the use of the same wheel several times...LOL, this would make messages that are not compatible with any other Enigma's

My suggestion is print the sheets out and redact the 11th pair. Otherwise I can go into the sheets online and redact all the 11th pairs in the Offizier sheets. Your call. If I do it might take a little while since I'm still translating the Satzbuch. I'll fit it in between brain overloads during translation. Mauser sends.
