I will be one of the operators for this event, operating out of the Dayton Amateur Radio Association (DARA) ham shack. DARA is home to Hamvention every year. This should be a fun opportunity for those with amateur radio licenses. As I recall I don't think anything but HF bands are in the contest mix. Thats too bad because it would be nice for the Technician class folks to get in on more than CW and 10M. With all the Reflectors and talk Groups, it would be nice to add D-Star, DMR, Fusion and P25 as they are all international modes. Of course those tecnologies did not exist during WWII. Anyway, thanks for putting up the reminder.

Enigma Reloaded went very well. In the US, the Dayton Amateur Radio Association (DARA) was one of the Activation stations. We made 370 contacts with mostly folks from Europe during the week. Unfortunately, the 20 meter band crashed propagation-wise right around the time we were supposed to transmit the encrypted message on 6 October. We sent it, but it was not heard in Italy. Apparently, none of the US stations were heard that day. Always next year.
