Celebrating VE Day, GCHQ posted a news item in various on-line news outlets with the last messages cracked by Bletchley Park, as of 7 May 1945. Lt. Kunkle is named in one, and another, unidentified, asks if there are any cigarettes available. Control said Nein. I couldn't download copies of the original documents in the story, but perhaps someone could point me to a place I could, without having to disable my ad blocker. Hope someone else saw this story. Thanks in Advance.
