I'm way behind on being active here but it sounds like I should add officer codes to meinenigma.com/keychart.phpOnce my other projects are winding down a little I will work on getting catching up here and also update that page

lpaseen,
I saw the officer challenge, and looked at what Bruce had on the main web site. Decided to add the feature to Dirk's Codebook Tool. I found a earlier version (2.0) that he had published on a Visual Basic 6 website. I've used that for creating keysheets for Officer procedures and the Enigma G. If you want a years supply of Officer keys sheets, I can print some for you and zip them up and post here. You can add them as you want to next year's code books.

Actually an earlier version of Dirk's tool that he published the source on a VB 6 website. I've taken it and added features to do keysheets for officer procedures and the Enigma G.

Mauser, I think the same system should be maintained by NUMEROS, in the Stecker part. Attached is a sample. Regards. Schlssel M.Offiz.pdf (32.45 KB)

Hi, I have seen the document that is being prepared so that we have a monthly key system, as it existed in reality. Thanks for the effort to make it and make it available to everyone.
I wanted to comment that I have seen in this document, as in previous OTO references, the name "Hanni" has been copied instead of "Nanni" for the letter N, and we have two names for "H" (Hanni and Hans) and none for "N".
As you know, this system of transcription of letters is like the current international code, it has searched for a name to spell without errors words difficult to understand.
In the current code the N is named with "November", the Germans had their own names for that and the N is named with "Nanni".
This I say, can be checked by official documents and for example, can be seen in the translation of Toni Sale, (BP) M.Dv.Nr. 32-1. Best regards.

I would have caught it if I had looked at least once and used the correct from the doc I looked at but I didn't - I just copied it from a bad place and worked on the rest of the formatting.

lpaseen,
I like it, though I'd use not the "NIXE" but the "OFFIZIER" format also on that page on Dirk's site. The Offizier procedure is slightly different than the Nixe. With Offizier you only change the Stecker settings and use one of 26 message keys, whereas the Nixe you have to change interior settings as well in addition to the others. My suggestion is to either stay with the Offizier setting pages or do both Offizier AND Nixe.

Picked NIXE only because it stated "Gültig für alle Monate" and it's easy to change the text around as needed. I feel the basics for "Offizier" is now done, just need to change the text and output format. I can easily add the inner settings needed for nixie Going with something simple I suggest to use a seed in format of YYYYMM, then it's easy to handle.
