The Short Message (Kurzsignals) procedure is finally done! I will be shortly uploading all the documents (7) into a zip you can download to the Dropbox. I will provide a link here and on the main webpage (what I’m calling the mothership). The documents in the zip will be:
The Satzbuch (sentence book) The Buchstabbuch (book groups book) The Kenngruppenheft (characteristic book) A Message Work Form (Schlusselzettel) and The Symbolic Key Tables
Users will need a current copy of the Navy Radio Callsign List (Marinefunknamenliste) and cipher keysheets for either TRITON, HYDRA, or THETIS.
There are instructions in the sentence book and I will have a Quick Reference Guide as well.
FWIW, keep in mind the Kurzsignals procedure was basically one way, namely from the U boat back to HQ. HQ would send standard length messages out to the fleet. This procedure is a part of the Enigma Advanced Procedures. It is not too difficult but it’s also not super easy either.
Let me know if you have questions.
Mauser sends.

The Enigma Short Signal system essentially equivalent to the 1944 version is now available on the DropBox as a Zip file of the materials needed to encrypt and decrypt Kurzsignals. These set for 2019 but I decided to release earlier. You need daily keys from either TRITON, HYDRA or THETIS. The DropBox link is: www.dropbox.com/sh/z88ty1i5ih58n3g/AADDZF-bOJU_hkUnh5is9rDqa?dl=0Enjoy and let me know if you need help. Mauser sends.

Hey, I know I have been away for quite a while but where are the THETIS codesheets located at To be honest, I don't know if they were generated by anybody. If they are nowhere to be found, give me a day and I'll put a set onto the DropBox. Mauser sends.

First of all, thanks for all your work. Would it be possible to get pictures of the original?

Starting in January, I will have a library on the DropBox that has PDF copies of all the source materials I used to generate much of codebooks we made available. The Kurzsignal 1944 in both volumes will be posted on the DropBox. You can save many many $'s and download a free copy. Real paper copies are very rare and sell in the Hundred's of thousands of US dollars.
