UPDATE (12/3/2020): The account does not belong to Dirk, it just links to his website. --------- I have found what appears to be a twitter account for Dirk Rijmenants (the creator of the Enigma Simulator for Windows). It has some tweets from 2018, before his brush with the eternal. It has a few M3 messages to decode: twitter.com/1939M3

He was quiet for a year, no posts on his blog. Then he came back and explained that he was involved in a bicycle accident and used that exact expression. before his brush with the eternal. What do you mean, is he dead?

Just wanna to let you guys know that I deny any premature reports on my passing to the eternal, as far as I know
Me typing this message is a pretty good proof I'm still around, unless we do live in the universe simulation hypothesis. What I can say for sure, that twitter account is not mine. No idea who it was. Never been on twitter and not planning to do so in the future.
By the way, my memory did suffer, so enlighten me on this one. Who's the man who runs the EWCG forum now? I know Bruce gave it over to someone else, forgot his name, and although Bruce and I had regular contact in the past, there's no word any more of him. If any info on him, please contact me through the Cipher Machines and Cryptology website.
Thanks in advance,
Dirk Rijmenants

hello I tried to decrypt the message you posetd. but i failed to decode the message key. i press CFYFKU and gained two different trigrams HTV INT... i used the Kriegsmarine M3 UKW=B & C separately, but i failed both. the simulation software i use is downloaded from this site: www.enigmaworldcodegroup.com/download-enigma-simulatori don't know where went wrong... i would be very grateful if you could enlighten me some. Thank you !

Configure the enigma simulator using a three wheel M3 machine with reflector B. Set the wheels, ring settings and plug as per line 27. Close the lid so the machine is ready to be operated, then move the wheels to position CFY, then type FKU, the result should be DNZ, move the wheels to position DNZ, then start typing the message from the second group. The first group is to make sure that the message is encoded with the settings for the day. The letters CCK should be found on line 27 of the settings.
