This is a partial blueprint of the forward starboard bulkhead inside a 1943 Type VII-C U-boat radio room. Please pay particular attention to items 28, 29, and 30.
This is the partial equipment list that goes with the partial blueprint of the radio room bulkhead shown above. Item 29, the Schlüssel M, is the Enigma machine. Item 28 is the Schreibmax printer that took the place of the Enigma light panel and printed the text on a paper strip. Item 30 is the MZSS power supply for the Schreibmax printer. Many thanks to Paul Reuvers and Peter Monte for their help in putting together this posting.
This is very interesting not only for the enigma related items but for the mundane items on the list such as "dose" connector/junction boxes, the "Kojenlampe" bunklight, "Durchreiche" passthrough between the radio room and sound rooms. Thanks for posting this. Jerry

It is very interesting to see a submarine blueprint. The printer power supply is huge... They had to include a rather large capacitor and resistor for each key in the enigma machine. The one in the photo below is even larger, perhaps the one in the sub does not need to change the voltage.
